Aftermath

An artificial forest that once supported Japan's post-war reconstruction has been swallowed by modern economic waves and left abandoned. Through the perspective of a single forestry worker who has dedicated his soul to the mountains, this soulful documentary questions the "importance of mountain-building" that we have forgotten, sounding an alarm about the desolate future of Japan's forests.
